══ The Model ══

The model was created using computer-aided design software. Features are carefully designed and optimized for quality and the 3D printing process. Real geo-spatial data such as LIDAR served as a foundation in creating this model.

══ The Process ══

The model is 3D printed in sections wherein a small nozzle deposits PLA plastic layer by layer, building the topography from the ground up. To achieve the highest level of quality, the process is exceptionally slow. Layers are printed fractions of a millimeter thick, therefore large pieces take several days to create. The printed material is Bright White PLA bio-plastic, and contains no high melt point additives, waxes or fillers for superior print quality.

The high level of detail in these pieces lends to a slow production process. Please understand that lead times may vary based on the number of parts ordered. We will do our best to keep you informed with shipping times and to promptly deliver pieces you will be proud to display.

With any 3D printing process a small degree of variation and minor imperfections can be expected.

The plastic model material can deform under extreme heat in excess of 38°C (100°F). Display the piece indoors and preferably away from heat sources.
